What is the purpose of flange isolation kits?
Electrical isolation separates cathodic protection systems in your pipeline to more effectively manage corrosion in each asset. Electrical isolation is also used in cases when two different materials like stainless steel and carbon steel flanges meet.

How do I know whether to buy Type E, Type F, or Type D Flange Isolation Kit?
This depends on operator preference & specification.
- Type D gaskets can be used with RTJ or API applications only.
- Type E gaskets can be used with Raised Face (RF) or RTJ applications.
- Type F gaskets are self-centering and can be used with Raised Face (RF) or RTJ applications.
Please make sure to indicate if the gasket is needed for RTJ application when submitting RFQ to confirm that seal placement is correct.

Innerlynx modular end seals are used to seal at each end of the crossing or when penetrating a wall (dike walls and compressor station walls). Innerlynx must be used with centered casing spacers or centered and restrained casing spacers to ensure proper fit.
